About this product
The M-Heat safety connector joins two M-Heat heated mats into one continuous working platform. It is a reinforced aluminium bridge, 73 x 22 cm, that bolts to the side of each mat using the mats’ existing screws, leaving no gap or edge at the join.
Use one connector for each join, and link the mats electrically with an M-Heat connector cable. Up to five M-Heat mats can run from a single socket.

Questions we get asked
How many safety connectors do I need?
One for each join. A run of three M-Heat mats needs two safety connectors, and a full run of five needs four.
How is it fitted?
Remove the four black screws along the side of each mat where the connector will go, turn the mat over, line up the connector's holes and refit the screws and nuts. Then link the mats with a connector cable through their interconnecting ports.
Does it heat?
No. The safety connector is an unheated aluminium bridge between two mats. It gives a continuous, level surface across the join so there is no gap or edge to trip on.
