About this product
The M-Series ESD wrist strap is worn on the wrist and links the operator to an ESD grounding system, giving static charges a controlled path away from the body during handling, assembly and testing of sensitive electronics.
The strap does not ground on its own — it connects to an ESD mat through a coiled cord, and the mat is bonded to earth. Pair it with the coiled grounding cord and an M3 ESD bench mat to complete the personnel path at a workstation.

What else do I need to use the wrist strap?
A coiled grounding cord to connect the strap to an ESD mat, and the mat itself bonded to earth via an earth bonding plug. The strap alone does not provide a ground path.
